Needs flap. Why would you want the clips of your pens all rubbing together when rolled?

aeberbachTechnically, you do not roll it. You fold the left two slots between the three right slots and they nestle in between each other. So there is not that much contact between pens. Even if there was a flap, unless it somehow attached in between each pen slot, you would still have left and right contact between pens. The flap would not really prevent that immediate side-to-side contact very well. What you would really need is individual pouches for each pen that is then stitched together into a collection of pouches, that would be the only foolproof way to prevent pen-to-pen contact. Now, if there was a flap, you could not worry as much about using the clips to hold the pens in place, and you could push the pens deeper into each pocket and that would help as fas as pen-to-pen contact goes. Just my thought on it.
