So you agree the nib has quality control issues and the converter connection is bad? I agree the pen feels solid in the hand and it was quite disappointing and really wanted it to work but what good is a pen that skips?

NorrisBThe stealth nib certainly has (in my case it had, if you manage to remove the color, it works) and it happens quite often that the converter falls off, as I carry it all the time. If you are willing to mod the pen, it serves you well. But the stealth version is not that convenient out of the box :)

NorrisBI purchased the Moss color a few month back, and had the same wacky problems with the converter routinely falling off the nib section. The nib actually fell into the bottom of a full bottle of Noodler's ink when I tried to fill it the first day... but I can tell you, and anyone else with this problem, that if you REALLLLY shove that converter into the nib unit, you will finally hear a "click." No more problems after that. And with a broad nib, now that I've figured out the wacky converter connection, this pen writes like BUTTAH!

heartsleeve310I could have written the same story as heartsleeve, including the nib dropping into a bottle of Baystate Blue. Don't be gentle seating the converter. Once it snapped into place this pen is the smoothest and most pleasurable writer I have, hands down.
