Didn't realize MD sneaked in a product spreadsheet on the description page on the bottom. It also has a picture of the black casing base on the 1080 model and its looks massively more attractive than the 34UM95. I changed my from "commmit" to "buy," and I think several people are too. I really hope we can get the 94 black casing now haha
adudeinblueThis was an update from the Poll discussion page. Not sure if it still holds, but haven't seen anything to say otherwise. From poll to drop the price adjusted $100, there's no black backing, and the ship date changed. I think the only difference now is the warranty. Probably why we're seeing less interest compared to the 3000 votes the poll received. I'm still debating, but will likely wait for Amazon to get them in stock and use my Amazon credit card.
"2. The 34UM94 looks very similar to the 34UM95 and our rep has verified the 34UM94 has the same silver back as the 34UM95. I can't say they're identical, but the stock photos they gave us for the 34UM94 are the same photos you see on 34UM95 pages."
fusoyaTo be honest, I think most people voted hoping the more votes, the lower the price. I think most people were just voting hoping for a huge price cut to normal monitor prices (~500) instead of 880. I think with this being such a new panel and form factor, the prices will initially be high but will ultimately drop when this starts getting outsold by $500 4k displays which are already out and reasonably priced, unlike this monitor.
AnzialYeah, but they're very attractive to the enthusiast gamer which seems to be the majority of people that would spend 800+ for a monitor. But why spend 800 when you could get more pixels for less money?
