Shipped my monitor back to LG today for DOA replacement due to the intermittent clicking noises. It seems like no one (?) else is having this problem so I'm hoping the replacement a) does not have the same issue and b) comes quickly... LG said one would ship out to me once they received mine, but we'll see, I guess.

thefivetheoryI've experienced loud popping that sounds like electric discharge on an older 34UM95 back in July. I recently picked up one off of Amazon (September build, A02) and probably have the problem you're describing. Does it sound feint? Note: I've had the same problems both with DP 1.2 enabled and disabled.
I'm on my third total, I seem to have bad luck with these. I'm personally probably going to wait for the Dell version and go from there.

Caleb_BWell, shoot. I actually did have one loud pop within the first few minutes of use, nothing since then. But yeah, it's subtle, recurring "click-click" noises every few minutes. It's loud enough I don't have to be listening for it specifically. I can confirm DP 1.1/1.2 seems to make no difference.
