I purchased this from Massdrop and actually received it very fast. The sound is loud and vibrant, but the bass is really lacking. I'm wondering if anyone else noticed that? I'm coming from a Sony HTST7 and the soundbar. The LG soundbar has very clear vocals, much better for normal TV watching, but the bass is just not there. I'm going to work with it a little more and contact LG support if there is no improvement.

policeman51I had ordered the SK8Y and found the same to be true. Says 360W but the volume is not even close to my 200 W Yamaha 2.1 ch

sarangtSo glad I'm not the only one. I saw one review online that reported the same thing. I ended up sending it to LG for support and it should be back next week. The price was great but man do I miss just getting something from the store and returning it.

policeman51So you you sent the speakers back to LG. I should try doing that as well.

sarangtSo I got mine back, hooked it up and the same weak bass. No change at all. The LG report said they replaced "electrical components" whatever that means. I know wifi 2.4ghz can interfere and sometimes the bass is noticable but just not what I expected, especially for the original price. The technical support and sending it in was seamless but from what I've seen it's not worth it. This sucks. I'm going to test it out on a couple movies today, but I'll eventually just put it on eBay or Craigslist.

policeman51Hey, how did this turn out? Mine is the same way. I returned mine to LG warranty repair, continue to have issues. WiFi seems bad, etc.

GregblydeI ended up just selling it on ebay and getting a Sony HT-ST9. I can only guess it's a bad batch or something because I went to Best Buy and listened to the same model and the bass was good.
