LMproductsIs there adequate padding in the backpack for the laptop? The timbuk2 distressed backpack has a similar aesthetic but there's no protection at the base of the bag. Laptops with edge to edge glass screens end up being prone to damage from impact when people casually set their bags down on hard surfaces.

rheechashaipuThanks for the question. I'll do my best to amswer. I have not handled the timbuktu bag you're referencing so keep that in mind. For the Keystone, there is adequate padding for what we expect normal use to be - to make it comfortable and absorb some of the shock of casual/ light indental impact. I've carried my laptop in there a ton without issue. It is designed with that in mind. If the edge to edge glass seems prone to damage in casual carry, a padded sleeve might not be a bad idea though. There is padding on the back and on the base of the bag. I'm not suggesting it is designed to guarantee to protect your laptop if you drop it from X-ft. high. Again though, it does have padding on the base to abaorb some of the shock when you set it down with a laptop inside. If a super dense, foamy protective bag is the sole priority, there are likeky more specifically suitable options out there. That aside, this is a really great pack designed to be comfortable and add a little protection from some bumps along the way. Sorry for the novel!! Let me know how else i can help.

AxeguyAs much as we hate to say No, we dont have immediate plans for a full leather option. The Tan color has your chocolate leather on there as the trim though 👍🏻
