100$ including shipping and 3 months of waiting time for 5 keycaps? This has got to be a joke.

Simple answer,
the kids will have something to show their kids, when talking about grandpa, who has been wasting time with playing games too. The grandkids will smile about the thought that grandpa had been young and foolish long time ago too and will even wonder about the fact that people were using keyboards back in those days.
Interacting with the matrix via implant is so much easier and faster.

Ive got rocks that have lasted 600 million years and will probably last that again in my back yard and theyre worthless : ) but all joking aside these are incredibly overpriced as are the holyoop ones. There is absolutely no way these cost more than 3-5 dollars to make in the box ready to ship. (source) I am a 50% owner in a plastic moulding company with a few sites) the only really expensive thing is the tooling but with aluminium if you are machining the caps or stamping them especially since they are so small it shouldnt be a huge issue

How you can defend that is beyond me. "Longer lasting keycaps" what does that even mean? I don't know what sort of abuse you inflict upon your keyboards but I've never had a key cap break or deform in any way in my entire life.

Guess I do. Funny thing is, I've never bought a keyboard that costed more than these 5 key caps.
