Probably the worst time to drop this watch, considering there is a similar sized Armourlite model on sale for almost $100 less, and the cheaper watch has a better quartz movement, a sapphire crystal, and the same tritium tubes. I mean cmon, whomever is in charge of watches at Drop, you’re literally cannibalizing your own sales.

NCC-11No worries. It seems like it’s slightly larger in diameter at 47 mm but thinner and with better specs at a cheaper price.

WatchyoutalkingaboutNot sure why you think the Armourlite has a better movement- they both have a Swiss quartz movement, usually by Ronda. LMK if you know otherwise, thx!

mrfuriouserCould be, but armourlite lists the exact model, this one doesn’t. Gotta give the point to the model that details its specs, but could possibly be the same Ronda movement. Even with the same movement, the cheaper option has sapphire, which is a giant upgrade at the price point.

WatchyoutalkingaboutAgree! The industry, on the whole, should move away from mineral crystal- save a few particular applications. Sapphire need be the standard for most watches.
