Apparently this is M-L-H with a push-button switch. This needs to go in the description Massdrop. Also beamshots (the pattern) would be nice. I doubt we'll see them, but there's hope.

chzelBeamshots might be asking a bit much. If you really need that I'm sure you can find it elsewhere.
You know about CPF right? http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?417505-Lumintop-Tool-Ti-(Nichia-219BT-1xAAA-Titanium)-Review-RUNTIMES-BEAMSHOTS-and-more

DataYeah, I know CPF, but really, beamshots don't need much effort, especially when they go to the trouble of setting up a studio shoot for the rest of the pics. My point is more about lackluster descriptions. And Massdrop has quite a bit of history in forgetting lot's of details about drops. Many are superficial (like mode order or beamshots) but others are very important (like not saying loud and clear that the Nikon drops are grey market). In many drops there is a lot of marketing hype, but often minimal technical info. I've suggested before that there should be two tabs, one "Description" for the marketing talk and one "Tech Specs" for the actual data.

chzelI wouldn't call mode order superficial. It can very well determine how suitable a flashlight is to a task. You wouldn't want a tactical flashlight that turns on at a blinding full power when you're going to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

chzelI'll give you the descriptions could be better. I just think it shows that the person/people who write the copy for a lot of these EDC drops aren't specifically flashlight nuts or they would know to include accurate run times, mode handling, battery compatibility and other pertinent details. They're going to write more for a general audience because that's their knowledge level. All the information is out there and in far greater detail than MD could ever hope (or want) to squeeze into a drop description. :P Just have to hop over to CPF or Google and look for it.
