To me, I think it's obvious that this is a gamble. You guys stating that you aren't going to get your money's worth is almost like saying that when you buy a booster pack you aren't going to get the value out of it. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. If you don't want to gamble, then don't. Naturally they're not going to take a 100% loss, there's got to be some room for profit.
