HAS YOUR ELECTRONIC BUTTON STOPPED WORKING?
Several posts have reported that the electron button on these MassDrop/Lumitop flashlights stopped working. I have encountered this a couple of times now with the Blue Titanium AAA flashlight that I just received and have discovered why it’s happening.
The seals on the light are so good that if the battery you use experiences any off-gassing, pressure will build up inside the light to a point where you can’t push the button down to turn the light ON. In fact, it feels like the button has broken entirely.
However, I unscrewed the button end just a bit, heard a “Pffttt!” sound, and suddenly the button works again. Apparently, high pressure inside the light can prevent the button from being pushed down at all. Thought this might be helpful to those who have reported button issues.

glennacIn my case, it isn't the button that has stopped working but the flashlight itself. I switched tails with one of my other lumintop minis to confirm the issue. And the button seems fine in terms of clickiness. It looks as though there are particular quality control issues with the ti blue version of this flashlight. None of my other lumintops have had problems and I'm not the only person to experience failure with this model after very, very little use. I've also tested every battery I've tried, and switched batteries with lights that work. The problem is the light itself.
