Mine failed. It also turned itself on and ran down the battery many times. Junk. Its also a copy of the CountyCom light and is nearly copywrite infringement/fraud whatever. My County Com still runs great.

darkpanaceaCountyComm's Maratacs are made in China by Lumintop, as are all the AAAs that are massdrop. I use mine every day and have had them with me ever since I bought them when they first appeared, no problems and no drained batteries. I can't understand that so many people have such problems and yes, I already have 5 of these Massdrop AAA, all are working fine and without any problems!

TeletinI only had one and it's circuits burned out. I'd like to know where you heard Lumintop makes everything for both makers. Also it doesn't matter if the tube is made by the same people. The electontics burned out. Maybe yours are in a drawer but mine is EDC and my knock off of the Maratac burned out in less than two hours of use. I'm not the County Comm Number One Super Fan, but they told me it's a clone when I sent it back to them for repair by mistake.
