To those who received the cree version instead of Nichia due to warehouse mixup: If you know how to solder, it's easy to replace the LED. You can order a Nichia 219C 4000K 90CRI from Kaidomain for about $4: http://kaidomain.com/Nichia-NVSL219C-R9050-D240-4000k-CRI92-LED-Emitter?search=nichia%20219C Make sure to get it with the 10mm MCPCB option. Use pointy tweezers to unscrew the circuit board from the head of the light to remove the pill, de-solder the LED board, and solder the wires back onto the new one.
