would it be easy to change this to rear power, change gain, or add an odac myself?

stinkyTheDonutIt would be difficult to change to rear power as the solder holes are on the motherboard. Gain is easy to change--just remove some resistors: http://www.jdslabs.com/pdf/O2_LowGain.pdf
Adding an ODAC requires more work but can be done: http://www.jdslabs.com/pdf/Instructions_ODAC_DIY.pdf

stinkyTheDonutNo PCB alterations, the power jack is in the back panel but leads are run from it to the front of the PCB. Same for moving the input jack to the rear.
