Feynman5111918Sorry, I think things are still just slow. Still, the HD 6XX can last a lifetime with just occasional pad replacements every few years, so any waiting now will hopefully fade from memory. I was using my HD 650 last night from a HiBy R6 Pro, rocking out to some “Justified and Ancient” and “Unfinished Sympathy” because I’m a 90’s kid at heart 😂 Going from phone or TV speakers to the HD 6XX is like a remastered, whole new experience, so I hope the anticipation is just a spice to whip up your appetite. Drop will ship eventually.

EvshrugUgh yeah I know it'll be worth it but it's been a week now. Currently using my AD700x but I only intended to use those for gaming and have these for critical listening. But thanks for the heads up man.

Feynman5111918Oh! The AD700 were my first full-size, over ear headphones!

The HD 6XX will be a nice contrast. The sound is heavier where the AD700x is light, but both are some of the lightest headphones to wear. Like a cello vs a violin. Maybe in 12 years you’ll be in the situation I’m in 😂

(over 20 headphones, including HD 6XX, HD 58X Jubilee, etc etc)

EvshrugOh man I really wanted the AD700 instead! They're so cool looking while the x variant, while with better bass, looks like a bland black void. And nice collection mate.
