Got mine today. Sounds just fine with silicone tips out of Shanling M1. Still not sure if it worth $250. Btw. sound is very similar to what is coming from my Audeze EL8-C but EL8's sound more clear and has bigger soundstage. -----UPD----- After some burn-in est. 10hrs I can say they completely WORTH their price. Sound is very fun, punchy, clear and, what's most important, extremely easy to listen to. Looking forward for buying another pair as a gift.

romkoThe El8 C is a 700 product, so I guess your saying the Noble X is worth more than $250?

romkoThey need a minimum of 100 hours - getting better until 200.
Also note that a change in tips can have a profound effect on sound - for better or worse. SpinFits sound best for me.
Finally, don't put the tips on too far - you get less bass the closer the outside end of the tip is to the outside end of the Noble.

TheRealDZThx, still a lot of time remaining. However I read somewhere that BA drivers do not require burn-in, not sure though because you get used to their sound with time, so... Regarding SpinFits, they seem to fit perfectly at first however I get earache with time, which doesn't happen with Foam tips that are included and sound with them is more satisfying to me.

romkoIm not sure if it is burn in as much as getting used to the somewhat dark sound of the Nobles.
