markalynIt's a little cliche, a lot of us love them, but I'm a big fan of Kitty Fat. Toxic also has impressed me, and I'm going to try some Ammo strings - mostly because I like the color combos of the Ann Connolly custom series.

One thing - you'll eventually wear through the string. If you're attentive, you'll notice the yoyo responds and feels differently long before there's enough wear for you to concern about it breaking.
I have a bag of 30 remaining strings I don't like. They wear out quick, and with the yoyos I have, they're just not consistent enough to perform at the level I need them to. They're likely sufficient for a beginner, though.
