This USB cable doesn't work with the Drop CTRL
I was excited to receive this cable because it looks really nice and fits the theme of my keycaps. However, when I received it and plugged it into my Drop CTRL the LEDs on the keyboard started blinking and the keyboard was not functional (hitting the keys didn't register on the keyboard). I confirmed the keyboard was fine with a regular USB c cable. @mechcables any help here would be appreciated.

james.hplugging it in a high power usb-port/active usb-hub usually does the trick

JohnAconI mean, it's plugged directly into my computer and keyboard... That should provide enough power for the keyboard to function. It's kind of ridiculous that my desktop wouldn't be able to power my keyboard.
