I would love to get these, but they seem more novelty than functional. The edges are too sharp. It doesn't seem like they would roll very well. I'd like to see a set more like the ones in this picture with the edges more rounded so they would be more functional:

ShinoAgreed. I have the dice from this set (look at the bottom of my post; apparently MD forces the link to go there?): https://www1.massdrop.com/buy/metallic-16mm-shiny-plated-polyhedral-dice-sets
Although they are very high quality and fun to hold (heavy!), and I don't regret the purchase at all, people entering this drop should be aware that some of these dice don't roll. They clunk.
Also, completely off-topic, but where is your username from? I am curious because my girlfriend's name is Shino, and I have never met anyone else with that name before in my life (online or offline).

ShinoThats just metal dice In general that don't roll as much. Tradeoff between hefty feel and rolling I suppose. Sharp edges are better for randomness and might actually roll more if they're the same weight

gibbousmoonI would add that if you roll these dice on a mouse pad they bounce like normal dice with just a little more heft. It was a pleasant surprise.
