Received my watch awhile back. Waited till Christmas to open as it was a gift from my wife. I went to set the time and pulled the stem out to do so. The stem pulled completely out! Know what do I do. Anyone else have this experience

Stick it back in... chances are the holding pin just gave out a bit and let the stem out.

Took to jeweler and said faulty construction. Returned it and after a wait got a replacement. All's well ...
