KavikThe hell you say!
Certainly, I can find it locally--have a bottle of it sitting over there on the shelf--not a fan.
I'm okay with Beefeaters, don't mind regular Tanqueray (No. 10 is over-rated), and I would be fine and damn-dandy with Gordons (good enough for Ian Fleming) and even Fleischmann’s (America's first gin).
That said, a Martini without olives andcocktail onions (alternating two of each on the cocktail pick in this precise order: olive/onion/olive/onion), would be akin to simply guzzling gin straight from of the bottle, at room temperature, wrapped in a brown paper bag, out back, by the damn dumpster!

On the other hand, if you ever come across a bottle of St. George Dry Rye Gin, my free advise to you is run like hell in the other direction (it's paint-stripper ;- )
RayFHuh. I have a hard time finding Botanist in a lot of the stores near me, but I'm a fan.
I just don't like olives in just about anything lol
It's a personal (dis)taste thing
Don't think I've ever had Gordon's, but always looking for new ones to try
Obligatory pic, not fancy like yours, just my gin shelf lol
KavikSo you're probably not interested in my famous Cream Cheese and Minced Olive Cracker Spread recipe? Oh well...more for me!

Actually, I like your Gin shelf --and the rest of your stock as well. Now that I see the bottle, I think I have not tried The Botanist! I see that Total Wine is carrying 750ml bottle for thirty-seven and change, so I shall add it to my list and report back after having a proper snort ;- )
Cheers!
RayFLol nope!
No offense, but that spread sounds like a nightmare to me haha
I'm not a heavy drinker, but I do like to have decent stock on hand when I want a drink 😉
That sounds about like an average price for it. Good luck, hope you enjoy it!
(also would endorse the Drumshanbo Gunpowder gin pictured. But not the St Lawrence in the back, and haven't opened the Roku to try yet)
KavikThe Roku is a lovely gin - on my tastebuds, but then I also like The Botanist. I like a gin with a bit of bite. Gin Mare is also a nice one to try - Spanish. And I'm quite partial to our "local" gin...
smallbitIt's a Mcusta Tsuchi. It comes in two versions - large and small. This is the smaller version. It has a hammered effect laminated Damascus VG10 blade. One of my favourite EDC knives.
