Although I fear may not get the repsonse in time, but here goes: I want to run 3 of these using AMD's eyefinity technology, to do this, one of the monitors has to be connected with display port. Would an active mini displayport to dual-link dvi adapter still allow me to maintain the full resolution?

DartrinimisYes, it will. As you said, you need an active mini-displayport to DL-DVI adapter, but the whole point of those is to run at resolutions beyond 1080P.
