Same here, I got it and it works like a charm, but if I'm about to pay taxes (which I don't for the moment) that makes it a lot less interesting. Still, since it's a group order directly from the manufacturer and outside of big demands from shops, maybe they took their time to release great samples and better QA so that we don't get a deficient one. I tested the card on a LOT of games, recent and old, demanding and light. I'm very satisfied with it but have encountered two problems for the moment : - CSAA antialiasing techniques are still not present since maxwell architecture (goodbye 32xCSAA) so no changes here, the maximum is now MSAAx8, which looks a lot worse on old games running low res (high res fucks up user interfaces and HUD). Supersampling still works the same hopefully. - Vulkan performance is TERRIBLE on this card, runs slower than OpenGL in doom and Dota 2 ! (in a huge variety of tested resolutions from 1080p to 2160p) !!! (wonder if it's a GP106 problem, or maybe better support in drivers in the future ?). Hopefully, I hardly give a shit about Vulkan ^^
other than that, it's a blast, a 1080p killer, and some games even run very well on 1440p or 1620p ! :) think of it as a revision of the GTX 980 but with more stable performance and more VRAM. I upgraded from my GTX 770 2Gb and it's a very pleasing improvement :) If you are running above though (GTX 770 4Gb model, GTX 780, GTX 780Ti, GTX 970, GTX 980), it's not worth the upgrade really.
