You could go to a prerelease event, and buy your prerelease kit for $20, which came with entry into a tournament, and prizes, etc. This sounds like more of a Massive inflation than a Mass Drop.

bigbenmeaigeYou could have done that, but not everyone is available for the pre-release. I can't currently find this pack cheaper anywhere else. It is $42 on amazon, $35 on eBay and more elsewhere.

eldiabeticoIf you wait a little, Card Kingdom will have them for $25 most likely. That is what I am waiting for.

eldiabeticoI get what you are saying. But you can also buy a bundle which has everything except the stamped rares and has four more booster packs. So, unless you really want the date stamped foils, this doesn’t seem like a deal for most people. But if you are collecting prerelease packs specifically, or just really love stamped foil rares, I don’t think this is a deal for most people.

bigbenmeaigeI agree with that. My friends normally get an extra, but nobody was able to go this time. The pack itself form me creates an environment specific to pre-release and, while I don't specifically collect pre-release packs, I am a huge fan of any Ravnica memorabilia for all of the sets.
