leminThe 5100 is still a beast of an entry level camera and considerably cheaper than the 5500. I got my wife a 5100 refurbished for around $500 last year. It blew me away how good that camera is for the price. If you want to save some money, but still want a very decent entry level DSLR, you'll be plenty happy with a 5100.
