Good for my specific use case, not universally great
I acquired this flashlight because I did my research and it met the criteria I needed: has a magnetic base for working on my car, and has a lantern feature that helps with car work. Has a low-lumen mode that can be a nice tent lantern light. I also have a lot of 18650 batteries lying around, as well as a charger for those batteries, so I was sold. I'm not a big fan of the two-handed operation of turning it on, or having to turn it on, then off, then on again to change lighting modes - but that's fine since the back of the flashlight is occupied by a magnet and not a button to turn on the light.
I'd recommend to my friends, but my friends are into the same hobbies as me so hard to say if I'd recommend to everyone. I think it's pretty cool, really I was just sold by the clever lantern mode.
