I was able to test the headlamp on a recent 3 day backpacking trip. The light performed great! It was easy to use and adjust the headband and angle of the light when wearing. The separate red and white light buttons were also a plus. The brightness levels levels of of the red and white light came in handy. I was able to increase the brightness of the red light so see where I was walking around camp without blinding everyone with the white light. It is lightweight and headband stayed in place even on the outside of a wool hat. Battery life has also been good based on my usage. I use the headlamps mostly for nighttime camp chores and short walks around camp.
