Product Description
The Nixeus EDG (Engineered and Designed for Gamers) certainly lives up to its name. With a 144 hertz refresh rate, 4-millisecond response time, and AMD FreeSync technology, it’s wicked fast and breezes through graphically demanding games without hiccups Read More
PSA: You need 6mm screws to use a VESA mount as the mount points are very shallow and will not accept all of the 10mm screws that usually come with monitor arms and mounts. Tried 8mm as well and still too long. Probably should have posted this when it was still live.
The screen keeps going black for a few seconds, and when it comes back on, a resolution window pops up, and the 'H:' has changed. I cant figure out what it means, but it is in the kHz.
Anyone have any ideas as to why it keeps going black? I tried changing the outlet, and i tried unplugging and plugging the dp cable back in (using the one that came in the box) and it still happens. The frequency could be once in a while, or multiple times in a minute.
NpzillaYes I do. That is probably part of the issue. However, at the recommendation of Nixeus support I changed the DP cable, and I havent had an issue since.
Great price for what seems like a great monitor. I've been buying Korean monitors for years and haven't been disappointed.
I'd probably think about this drop if the bezel wasn't so large.
ryanzerbeIt usually is pretty pointless, but it is technically an extension of an HDMI function; HDMI carries sound and video. So while not necessary for the vast majority, it is an appropriate additional function. Where someone may hook this up to a console, and not require any other additional hardware (for sound outputs) to get going.
Hey - I got my recent drop on 5/23. I get power to the monitor and my computer knows it's there (see it in Display Settings) but there is no picture. Please help.
OutlandishPoNothing shows on the monitor no matter what. Not even the no signal or power saving or a menu at all. They had me send it back in after trouble shooting didn't work. Waiting on a replacement.
For anyone hesitating to buy this, I've had one for about 6 months now and I love it. It's amazing when used with an AMD card, but it's also amazing when used with an Nvidia card as well, as I went from an RX580 graphics card to a 1080ti about 5 months ago, and I refuse to pay $700 plus for the G sync equivalent from Acer or Asus.
vegetarianeaterEdit: I thought this was the version with the adjustable stand, get that one instead this one has a terrible stand (unless you have a VESA mount already I guess)
