core310Awful. The only way this set up may not be bad if your in snow other than that it will be WAY to hot and it will catch the water vapors off you breathing and have ALL the dew near you in the morning will be in the bivy and all over you and your sleping bag. If you are looking into bivy camping just go simple get a broah gear bug bivy maybe $70 ( and made in america with better stuff ) and a tarp and it will be lighter, 1000x more breathable, and with a just the stardard blue tarp a lot more water proof. I only know because i went from hammock camping to bivy camping now I am rocking a solo tent able to move and sit up is worth the extra effort.
