I must say I really like the look of the new premium model in blue. I have a redesigned Urban in night sky blue, and while it's a pretty pen, the nib is just eh. I wonder if the premium has a different nib, or just the fancy cap?

writerstephenI think they're all the same nib. The pics of the uncapped pen is the premium orange color, and the nib looks the same as what's on the non-premium versions. The Parker UK site has a bit more info... http://www.parkerpen.com/en-GB/store/collections-urban Some interesting notes from that site: The Dark Blue has a light blue grip, and the Dark Purple has a light purple (looks pink) grip. Dark Blue, Dark Purple, Orange, Violet, Green, and Aureate have an anodized aluminum body. Caps are brass. All other models are brass.
I have the old model in Mandarin Yellow and the new one in Vibrant Magenta. I like pretty much every change they've made to the pen. However, I just noticed that the cap on the new version has a rather large breather hole. You can see it under the clip on the pic of the Orange model.

skrooksThat would explain why mine dries out so quickly, while my old urban premium does not.
And i I think you're right about the nibs. Didn't notice that til after I'd posted.
