Yea I got my units for more than a week ago and cannot recommend it to anyone until the pair dropping issues are resolved. I was using it on an nexus 4 and a galaxy note 3,it seems to work slightly better on my note, less random Bluetooth disconnection, also the app is annoying when you don't allow cloud service you get stacked notifications when you open the app and have to click OK 5-to tens times when you are signed in reminding me my cloud service function is off. As everyone else is saying basically you are just letting the app refresh and scan to look for the pebble since the connection will drop and the app will not reconnect properly. All in all I am disappointed in the pebble as I felt it should have been more intuitive and streamlined in its operation, but it is basic, also I never got the range finders to work properly on either of my phones, it would tell me my bee would randomly get lost even though it was in my hands or starting to leave the hive. I bought 2 of them also, so there must be alot of faulty units going around. I guess it will work in a pinch, but not like the videos all, don't expect to be data logging your pets adventures! , I would not trust this to find or keep something very important from getting lost.
