I attached the finder to my son's blankie bc he loses it all the time and can't sleep without it... It didn't work right away even after pairing worked. I had to reset the finder and then it worked fine for a while. Now my son lost his blankie and it shows up on the GPS locator screen and is connected somehow so I see it is around the house somewhere, yet it will no longer FIND it and make a beeping noise so we can easily find it. Is it bc I rebooted my phone? Anyway this is beyond frustrating. If it can't keep track of this stupid blankie for us then it's useless. I also had to disable the find phone feature bc it is annoying to have my phone make noise if the finder is accidentally pressed. I already use Google or Google Home to find my phone anyway if lost. Highly recommended btw! It sucks that it only comes with 2 locatable devices -- one that looks like a keychain and one that is like a credit card. I never lose my wallet. I can't figure what to use this cumbersome device on. The finder itself was a little too big and bulky for my needs but I guess it's really designed for ppl who really lose their car keys or something it can be chained to. Dunno why I got this device at all now that I see it is the Bluetooth pairing that seems to be the issue not the GPS. How can I re-pair with a lost device? How can I find it ever again?? Useless and lost now.
