Ehh. I really wouldn't bother. Its CNI, so it will be a fine laser, very easily hitting its rated output level. It will also have a very stable TEM 00 mode, have no heat issues, etc. That said, I cannot reccomend it. Why? Price. Simply put, there's no reason to get a $60 5mW laser in green. If this was a yellow laser I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but you can get pretty good lasers that have the same power output for like $10. For around the same price you can easily get 100mW+ green lasers if you want to do some higher powered pointing, or burning. Finally, I'm pretty sure Ive seen LPF group buys for similar CNI lasers that were a little bit cheaper and/or higher power.

My suggestion: pass.

SodaAntSodaAnt, can you provide links or pointers to more info on the better lasers you mentioned?
