These comments amuse me. If you don't want one, don't get one. You want bold or fine? Don't get this one. It is Medium. You want a Chinese knock off for $2 less? Don't get this. You need it this week? Don't get this. If you would like a consistent reliable pen for $13.25, jump on it. This is a great deal on a very nice pen.
double-dhave to disagree. if you're new to massdrop you might not understand that every deal may not be as good as advertised. yeah, it's up to each individual to do the research but comments help cut to the critical chase. not everyone is whining. the video above was misleading and a "great deal" is just one's opinion.
double-dyes, as i mentioned earlier, jetpens sells this for14.50. taking into account the amount of time (and time is money) it will take for the stock to arrive at massdrop, then shipping to the recipients, i would say that 1.25 is not a great deal even if you were buying in bulk (11 pens gets you one). this is my opinion.
double-dI can't help to think a lot of this was directed to what I had mentioned.
Chinese knock off for 2 dollars less huh? Now that's truly amusing to read because the one I was referring to was made years BEFORE the Metropolitan was ever brought into the market. I guess this is the go-to, stereotypical put down for any product that's made in China by adding the words 'knockoff' behind it regardless if it's true or not, isn't it?
Shame on me, right? For trying to speak on some of the short comings about the pen as someone who actually has experience using the pen.
I'm glad it amuses you when an alternative product is mentioned (of which there are many out there; and for double-d's sake, there are non-Chinese made, non-knockoff out there as well)... as opposed to 'take it or leave it' sort of hard ball attitude.
