You can also use the body of the pen as a ink reservoir for more capacity since the threads are fairly thin allowing you to use the ink of your choice.

Yep! I did it with the ones I have. I just refill the cartridges with the ink of my choice, and it works perfectly!

They can be with any bottled fountain pen ink and a blunt syringe. You can also use a converter if you wish.

Be wary of filling the whole pen body with ink. While it's a blast to write forever, that is a LOT of ink and you're just asking for trouble!
