The Pilot Parallel is unique and versatile set of pens that allows you to easily change the width and color of your pen strokes, making it approachable for beginners and a tool that even professional designers use for their work. The Parallel 2-Color Calligraphy Pen gets its name from the innovative tip design, which holds two parallel plates on top of each other, as opposed to side by side, giving you much sharper lines than most calligraphy pens.
Note: In this drop you will receive four pens with different sized tips (1.5 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.8 mm, 6.0 mm). Each pen comes with its own Cleaning Bulb, Tip Cleaner, and two color cartridges: Red and Black. You also have the option of including 2 variety packs of 12 additional color cartridges (+ $7), or 1 or 4 x CON-50 converters (+ $5/each) as an add-on to your purchase.
Unique Gradation
Another unique feature is that each pen allows for two different ink colors to be employed, bringing gradation and color variation when you touch the tips together. Each pen comes equipped with one black cartridge, one red cartridge, a converter, and a tip cleaner for clean and enjoyable writing. For even more variety, you can add on two packs of 12 colorful cartridges, specifically designed to offer gradation when used with the Pilot Parallel 2-Color Calligraphy Pens, or some CON-50 piston-style converters to use with bottled fountain pen ink.
