Perfect for both tethered or over BT
It's very convenient to pair with my phone over BT when I am on the go. It is also very easy to connect to my desktop when I am in front of my monitor. The sound delivered from this little piece is amazing and the PEQ is a big plus for me -- an Apple product user which is infamous of lacking system level PEQ compatibility. It's my daily carry now.
BTW, make sure set USB as higher priority when enjoying the music on computer.

Amazing little device
Got this to fo with my new Sennheiser HD58x Jubilee and it's the perfect match. Amazing audio quality, tiny size, excellent battery life.
This little unit pretty much makes ANY headphone wireless, and the phone app allows you to equalize it to your liking.
Can also be used as a USB DAC if you are so inclined and want proper good quality audio from your device.

Not much to say that hasn't been said already
I have always somewhat tried to avoid EQ at least on my mobile gear like IEMs because it is just too much a nuisance. However, that is no longer the case. I am also really enjoying this without any DSP on many sets as the bluetooth and small form factor is very convenient. The Q5K is a great little piece of gear that I wish I hadn't waited so long to add to my collection.
