Very Convenient
I love how it has battery passthrough once it is fully charged. The Bluetooth is very convenient for taking it out of the house.

Hands down bet choice I made to get into audiophile gear.
What can I say I am very impressed, I'm new into audiophile gear and I have been learning about gear from a distance cause the price to entry for something that truly sticks in your collection can be expensive, but i saw this on here and figure for 100 bucks why not. I got it to use with my HD6XXs and it does not disappoint. Pros: Compact, it packs a lot of punch for a tiny package Simple and easy controls and indicator lights that are better for battery life Can be used on for PC, I use it mostly plugged into my pc The EQ and software features, I didnt realize at first it had an app and I was already planning on giving it 5 stars Stable strong connection and good range

Cons: Buttons are a bit touchy, if you go to adjust or move around the device or its in your pocket and you reach in for it they have a tendency to be very easy to bump on accident, not cheap feeling per say just not a lot of resistance in the switches Will connect to Bluetooth while using over usb, if I don't turn my phone Bluetooth off when I turn on my pc it will connect and switch back and forth between the 2, thats more of a nit pick to be honest Over all 10/10 I plan on putting this to good use for a while

You're telling me I could have been using this all these years? Ain't no way...
There are way more pros than cons with this, so I will just tell you two of the most important in each category just to be fair. Pro: Get your headphones to sound how you would like them to. I had not expected to use the eq/DAC controls as much as I have, and let me tell you, this adds so much value to any of your audio setup that this feature itself basically makes all cons null and void. 6xx, kiwi quintet, wh1000x, you can create profiles for anything and tune it to your ears as you see fit. Pro: Bluetooth- I didn't expect the range of this to be as good as it is. I accidentally left my phone inside my house the other day while taking out the trash, and I experienced no drops, something that my pixel buds 2 couldn't do. Haven't noticed any lag, and having the ability to save 2 devices to swap between is really nice. Con: the buttons are a bit finnicky. hard to tell when I've pressed them correctly, and they are easy to press when just adjusting the device. They're not cheep feeling, but just make the device a bit odd to handle. Con: the device seems to have issues with my USB docks, I'm not sure why it is (after quite a long search for help), I've reach out to support, and have not received a response. However, they do push out firmware updates on the regular, so I'm hopeful this will get amended in the future. For now, I'll just use deal with reconnecting to my laptop every time I travel with it.

Had I tried this before buying my first wireless ear buds, I absolutely would have stayed away from buds with proprietary components. now if a part of my system breaks, (e.g., cable or iem) I can keep everything else, and just replace/upgrade whatever is needed. no more needless throwing away of Li batteries. P.s., If Qudelix is listening, pleasssseeee come out with a line of IEM cables that are super short for clipping on t shirt color or sleeve, and a decent in line mic! I will be the first to buy them I promise.

one of the best BT DAC AMP! It's small size shouldn't deceive you at all...
I have the CA CXA 61 and TASCAM CD-200BT and those have some of the best BT receivers and Qudelix-5K is no less in anyway except for the size. Crisp, tight, punchy in everyway possibly

you can imagine. I am running this through Marantz PM6007 to a pair of Focal Aria 926s and it can't be any better. Love every bit of it.

Well-balanced mobility & power for a geek's best wired headphones!
Summary vs. TLDR: * The Qudelix 5K is a fantasticly-flexible and compact device that performs well as an audiophile's USB DAC and headphone amp at the desktop, AND... * ...as a Bluetooth-connected headphone amp-on-the-go with excellent battery life for critical listening sessions while on long walks. * The device's buttons and supporting apps reveal lots of complex DAC/Amp/DSP-PEQ functions and options to technically-inclined users. Technically-squeamish listeners be aware. * Minor bugs exist and mostly get squashed in periodic firmware updates (i've installed two updates in the month I've had it). More blather: My recent entry into the 'headphone hobby' began with a Sennheiser HD599 purchased on sale via Amazon and listened to via the 3.5mm audio output on my late model M2 Macbook Air. This combo was good enough to place me on the expensive slippery slope of wondering what even better headphones sound like with proper amplification... So, I next purchased Drop HD 6XX and Grell OAE1 cans to better push the limits of the Macbook's single-ended output before deciding to order this Qudelix 5K and balanced cables for all my new headphones. Oh! The 'Q5K' does fine with SE 3.5mm-connected headphones, but offers twice the power/headroom to balanced headphone connections via its 2.5mm trrs output! I now mostly listen to a set of Sony MDR-MV1 headphones using the Qudelix 5K's balanced output mode. It's superb!

I note that the Q5K is limited to hi-res music encoded to 24-bit/96kHz, so I do wonder if I could benefit from a 32-bit/384kHz-capable DAC... but since I can't honestly claim that I truly can hear the difference in Hi-Res encoded old favorites played via the Q5K's 24bit/96kHz USB-C connection vs. a 16-bit/44kHz AAC-codec-using Bluetooth connection - I'm in no great rush to upgrade this headphone amp.

Great DAC for iPhone 14Pro - wired!
Use mostly on Tidal for the hifi content mostly wired on iPhone 14Pro with Fiio LTLT2 cable - works great, not heating up on lightning side. Just after the unboxing the connections were very unstable, playback stopped and was loosing connection when minimising Tidal or display went standby. After reinstalling the app and re-adding the K5, left default CHARGER CONTROL ON and AUTO POWER MODE -> ON at USB DAC got it all sorted up, stable connection/ no crashes! Drives great my Shuoer S12Pro and Sennheiser HD400 Pro. Love this small piece of tech - and it's App! Qudelix, made a great product!

good (and better) as you could possibly ask for
This thing is functionally WAY better than l thought it would be, but that's not why l love it so much. This simple and wonderful little device makes the previously desk only audio experience MOBILE AND WIRELESS. I had no clue how wonderful this would be until l was using it everyday. Sidenote: it makes an satisfying "click" noise when it turns on. It makes me happy about the audio quality I'm about to experience. 4 IEMS, and 7 headphones (l live by a liquidation place) are now as convenient as my earbuds but with a HUGE noticeable increase in quality. I pair this bad boi with my Aful performer 8s and there is not a pair of earbuds on this earth that could compare. I've got the Denon Perl pros and Technics EAH-AZ80, THEY DON'T COMPARE. Even just Audio Technica ATH-M50Xs with their excellent build design and comfort paired with this dude is SO nice. Maybe not sennheiser momentum 4 nice, but cooler lol. I am now a 'puts headphones on neck' guy intead of 'taps earbud like sci-fi movie' guy when people need to talk to me. (Dude, trust me bro, this is way more swag) I've always disliked having a wire going from my ears to pocket, this thingimabob fits easily into a chest pocket, (Flannel gang) in which case I literally forget that there is a wire sometimes. My only knitpick is that it's so small, I wish the clip was big and strong enough to have a more robust functionality. My dream version of this whatsamawhosit would look like a very functional clip (maybe with a wire holding slot) and the actual device would be dwarfed by the clip. You know what? I should 3d print this.

DO NOT JUDGE HIM BY HIS SIZE, HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT TO DO WITH IT AND HE DOES IT VERY VERY WELL.
