With the lowest price these headphones are $20 cheaper than the current Amazon price. I’m having a hard time finding any reviews or thoughts, anybody on here with opinions or who already has these??

BigZusually, gaming headsets are crap. There are some exceptions but majority aren't great. Search on Youtube Z reviews Roccat headset review.
In short, gaming headsets aren't great unless it's manufactured by a reputable company like akg, beyerdynamic etc.. Those are usually more expensive.

MandoAllDayYeah but, for the price it's something to give to a kid. Practicality beats performance when it's something someone would appreciate.

Yakovfor the price, the hyperX cloud beats most of the headsets... probably the only cheap "gaming" headset available... if you can spend a little more, the Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X hands down is a better option... and if you can spend even more, there are a lot of other models around...

ViXoZuDoI agree the clouds are a better choice but, they aren't priced near $80 anymore and old stock is hard to come by for the cloud 2s.

YakovThat one is the "old model" that was praised... newer version comes with USB adapter and that's the reason it's more expensive... you should research a little before talking...

MandoAllDayTrue. Even the Sennheiser PC 360 I bought (touted as the greatest) had serious issues related to the microphone.
I think the only worthwhile headset I've ever had was an old USB Plantronics Gamecom.
All cheap headsets have been a waste of money (terrible sound, non-functional mic).
I'm thinking perhaps it's time to just buy splurge on an expensive mic separately and forget the headset.
They don't make them near as durable anymore for what you pay.
