Why is this on Massdrop? Anyone who spent time in the military knows these cleaning kits are trash. Steel rods with threads that get stripped and splayed and brushes guaranteed to bite your fingers. For anyone NOT in the military who isn't mandated to clean their weapon for 4-6 hours before it gets rejected by the dicks in the armory (again), go to literally any gun shop and buy some better lube and cleaning equipment.
Or save your money and go the field expedient way with q-tips, baby wipes, and a scivvy shirt, with liberal amounts of CLP all a round.
This drop is crap and anyone buying it to look military hipster should save their money because it's borderline useless. I didn't realize Massdrop is now military surplus.

hedonist_consumer19My thoughts exactly. Though I do miss the smell of gunpowder and CLP, I wouldn't pay more than $3.99 for this kit. Who actually requested this as a drop? The $16.99 for the minimum drop price is better spent on baby wipes and q-tips.
