That's right, it is frustrating. It's already been 3+ weeks and now we're expected to wait a few more weeks. I'm assuming the vendor/supplier is notified ahead of time that an order of a volume of 'X' is incoming and they can schedule accordingly and let you folks at Massdrop know. Maybe they have to send out 2 or 3 separate shipments, but shouldn't we at least have much better defined timeline almost immediately?
We haven't received any update on this until yesterday. Once the drop ends, shouldn't there be an update in the discussion notifying us when to expect these to ship. I understand things happen, but the lack of communication to me seems indicative that a problem was known and we were not told.
I'm just expressing concern for how some of these things are handled. I would imagine MD would be contacting the vendor and hopefully the vendor would be honest upon shipments.
I understand we are getting a decent discount, but we're still customers and fans of MD. I'm not placing blame on anyone, but hopefully someone is taking responsibility for this. Sorry for the wall of text.

SolidHey - you're entirely right and we are holding the vendors accountable. We have a few approaches for making these run more smoothly in the future (ie. requiring our vendors to keep their stock in our warehouse prior to running, taking on partial inventory, etc). Every vendor has different levels of reliability and as we learn more about each one, we're better able to anticipate delays for the group.
