This is a must buy for anyone that wants a quality mechanical pencil
Overall this pencil has a amazing feel to it! The grip is very comfortable (as long as if you do not hold the pencil too hard) and the rest of the pen feels like it truly build-ed to last! I have had mine for over 1 year now and it works amazing! One Pro tip that is a huge factor in the lifespan of this pencil is putting any cap on it that fits! Reason? Well, the only con of this pencil is the fact that the tip can break easily from a drop! and is not pocket safe. Overall this pencil is a must buy for sketchers however if your planing in using it to write and take notes this pencil does not disappoint!

AppmaniaWholeheartedly agree. I have a Rotring 600 0.5mm and absolutely love it. The weight, quality, and balance of the pencil are all great features of it. In fact, I love this pencil so much that I've bought a few spares because I find that this pencil is superior to the 800 and am worried it may be discontinued in the future.

By far the best writing tool in my line up of a Zebra F-701 (pen), SKILCRAFT B3 Aviator (multi-pen), Locus 3way Pen (multi-pen), rOtring 800 (pencil), rOtring Rapid PRO (pencil), Kurutoga Roulette (pencil), and Pentel Graph Gear 1000 (pencil). Some of these are more than $50, but the rotring 600 is still my preferred tool. Its highlights are the amazing grip, weight, and quality construction. Make sure to protect the thin metal tip from damage as it is quite fragile. I bought this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Q6Z1JDK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) pen case and put a cheapo BIC pen cap inside it. This protects the tip and allows for easy transportation.
Sidenote: I love this thing so much that I would recommend that you just buy it off of amazon to get it in your hands as quick as possible.

Why does the shipping price increase by more than double when changing the quantity from 1 to 2??? That seems rather ridiculous in my opinion.
Qty 1 shipping = $2.75
Qty 2 shipping = $6.75
Qty 3 shipping = $7.75
Qty 4 shipping = $7.75
I want to buy two of these; however, the shipping price for two is the only deterrent.

IvanSpendalotI thought about that, but I thought you can only commit to the drop once? Adding additional orders to a single commitment doesn't deviate from the established shipment costs, I tried that scenario. Two separate orders still add up as if they were a single order.

Protip for anyone wishing to protect their outlay on these, Bic Cristal pen caps fit like a glove and bind nicely onto the knurling.
r0tring really should have a cap on these as they're quite easy to damage if you're unlucky. They're a much superior device to actually use than the slightly wobbly retractable 800s.

The leadholder is a VERY different design to the finer point 800s, in particular there's no retractable tip.
