Hi! This material is fairly thick - about 1/16", and more rigid than genuine leather or what is usually expected of bonded leather (the bonded leather has various contents of leather depending on the manufacturer, as low as 50%), partly thanks to the protective coating (which gives the consistent color and water protection, the other side is the actual regenerated material which, like genuine leather, should not be exposed to moisture).
