One more question. I just got a Bernina 590 and the ruler work foot. I am not sure which shank to get since Bernina has their own method. Does anyone know?

MsLoriAAre you using the #72 foot? If so, I recommend the High Shank. But you can also use the 1/4” thickness too. I’m guessing you’d like the High Shank better though. :)

saridittyThank you! I wasn't sure since Bernina is a breed of a different style. I do us the #72 Ruler work foot and have other rulers that are low shank so I could interchange between a Brother and a Janome. I don't have the Janome now and the Brother will use either so I'm going to take your suggestion and go with high shank! :-)
