DrPatrickBatemanI build with this type of stuff (prototype) and it seems like a fair deal for the components. I can't speak to the platform for the dev work. What I can say is that I would spend my money on a comprehensive Arduino starter kit with project book if I was getting started. Learning the microcontroller and I/O types is more important for a beginner than IOT.
