arturro101So UPS told me that it was 23% VAT on whatever the price they thought the watch was worth PLUS 20 euros UPS charge for 'dealing with the taxes for me'

Pauly3That does not have to do with being in the Eurozone, this happens occasionally in Sweden aswell. It has to do with the EU and U.S. not having a good FTA aswell as massdrop not allowing you to choose to pay VAT directly when ordering so customs have to make you pay it
