Most Seikos aren’t. What leads you you to believe this one is?

JohnnyCreditMovement is made in Japan, Watch is assembles in Malaysia. You can tell via seiko’s case back and/or dial
Japan Movement = assembled in one of their SE Asia factories
made in Japan = assembled in Seiko Japan factories.
Dig into it and you’ll hear some arguments that even the Japan Made stamped watches can be assembled in SE Asia factories, but it’s the rule of thumb I’ve used on my 5 Seikos.
