viramanSome people are "automatic" snobs.....myself included....somewhat. I do own a couple quartz watches (but 11 autos). That being said I jumped on this deal!! (P.S. I also have a 6.5" wrist but this watch wears small for it's massive specs.

viramanThanks for the sizing info. wish i jumped but was a bit too late. I own tbe BFK diver so no auto snob here but kinetics can require a bit of babysitting and concern a manual wind auto does not. Love the look and colors though. Will jump on this drop next time.

LonemanIf you leave them past the power reserve they can take a bit more effort to get charged again. I had to do the seiko shuffle the better part of an evening to get my kinetic diver going again and then i had to wear it for a few days straight to get about a month's charge back.

viramanSix months full charge according to Seiko's bumpf... if it doesn't get worn in six months it's hardly in a "rotation", imho. My SUN019 kick starts to the "2 second tick" just as fast as my autos with 7s26 & 4r36 movements come alive, is up and running in a few minutes of wear and within a day or two has a month's charge, as opposed to just 40hrs reserve with the autos.
Accuracy with any SUN0xx will wipe the floor with any auto in this price range (even at full RRP) unless you get really lucky with a perfectly regulated one. If it's the quartz aspect that people look down upon, they're in high end Seikos & many Swiss maker's watches, too.
