I have never had a watch that has a date system. I've always wondered, how does it track dates according to month? For example, if a given month has only 28, 29, or 30 days?

KailecI don't know how it is for real expensive stuff, but for a watch like this, it will just run to 31 every month and you'll just have to manually bump it forward a day when you finish a month that only has 30 (or 28/29)

KailecThis watch has a standard date wheel, which means the date will change once per day. This means you will need to reset your date 6 times per year for months that only have 30 days.
Other complications called the annual calendar and perpetual calendar know what month, year and leap year it is. These complications allow the watch to account for odd and even months as well as February and the extra day in a leap year. These complications cost a lot more and it's more about the mechanical cool factor rather than the practicality. Changing your watch from 31 to 1 only takes a few seconds. :)

Ryan_Z28Yeah this is pretty standard even for expensive watches. As described below, only calendar complications can solve this one.
