I have two of these. One with a white dial and another in black and gold. They 're now two of my favorite Seikos, even though they're only pretending to be dive watches (100m resistance), and only remotely channeling the vintage Blancpain vibe. JDM is preferable for sure, but you don't need to worry about the fact they're assembled in Malaysia. They work just fine. And yes, that flimsy blue box is what they come in, but hey, who wears the box?
