I've been swimming with other 100M rated watches, and I don't recommend it. It's not really about the Water Resistance - but more about "Force" - anything below 200M is only testing statically (i.e. no motion), while Dive watches are typically testing with movement and and also use of a shock force at depth.
So basically it can be submerged, but the movement of your arm actually simulates more pressure even at minimal few feet - 100M is not terrible as it will easily deal with any rain or being held under the faucet, but swimming is not recommended (And certainly no Diving)
